The hosts were lovely very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful and made us feel at home.All the bread jams and yogurts were made by the owner. The walk to the lake was great. Very quite relaxing place.comfortable bed.

Paul and Tanja have created a lovely welcoming atmosphere and provided a very tasty and generous cooked breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable with a modern spotlessly clean bathroom. The use of original french furniture gives a very unique feel to the L’ancienne Gendarmerie. The location is lovely, set in a small village with a great restaurant literally a few steps from the front door. We really enjoyed our stay and just wish it was a little longer.

An absolutely beautiful location right on the river. This old mill has been converted to an exceptional standard and managed to retain many of the original features. The appartement is very well equipped and has such a lovely homely feel, in the lobby there is table football, darts, ping-pong, a pool and a sauna, plenty to keep the kids entertained. The owner is such a nice gentleman and gave our stay a very personal touch.

The place is located on the river, so that you actually feel like you are living in the water. This is an excellent and magical feeling for me. Near the hotel there is a piece of forest along the river with a very convenient private beach for entering the water. We were in a hotel for 3 days and spent two days on the beach. The owners of the place are very nice people, their son speaks good English, he gave us a very good guide about the place. The place is very clean. Comfortable beds.
