This was one of the best accommodations I stayed in, I will definitely come here again. Idyllic place with a lot of attention to detail. Our spacious room was part of a restored barn, everything was new, the bed was great, the bathroom was clean, we had our own terrace with a backyard view, the sound of the stream and birds was very peaceful. The rooms were soundproof, we didnt hear much noise made by the other guests. We were welcomed by the son of the owner, he was very friendly and gave us great tips what to visit nearby, the next day we met with the owner who made us feel very welcome. Both gave us very nice insight of where to go, where to park our car etc. The breakfast was sufficient, quality cheese with fresh croissants and baguettes, fresh juice, coffee, tasty deserts... The parking is behind a secured gate and can fit all guests, at night the gate is closed and can be opened by a provided PIN code. Maisnières is a small village, fairly close to Le Tréport and Saint Valery sur Somme, Rouen is about an hour drive.

If you are looking for a place to unwind, enjoy beauty and tranquility in a rural setting, appreciate history and traditions in a princely setting, this gem is for you. The host couldn’t be more forthcoming and my dog was warmly welcome. The breakfast room alone was worth the visit!

this is a typical "Gite la Picarde"...You feel at Home en Picardie...it is vintage house..everything works perfectly.....it was great being there...

Great gite well equipped in a very quiet rural location. Only a short distance from the motorway so a great place to stop when traveling to/from the channel ports or Eurotunnel. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the area more.

Francoise and Claude were the BEST hosts imaginable. From a warm and welcoming arrival with homemade jam and local cake to how they went out of their way to help us when we had an unexpected emergency come up. The location is fantastic for exploring different sites and activities in the region, information about which Francoise provided us with. The outdoor space - some of which is part of their large garden - was ideal for our daughter to play in and we felt so at home during our stay. We could not recommend it enough.

Its a compact and comfortable place. Calm neighbourhood. The property had all the necessary facilities and place to move around for a toddler. The nice small window at the east side allows for morning sunlight which is amazing! There are blinds as well that helps you with sleep.
