Compact but well designed and very comfortable accommodation. It has every facility you could need - washing machine/dryer, fridge, dishwasher, full oven and hob. All the fixtures and fittings are of good quality. The decor is modern and very pleasant. The owners have made a lot of effort to fit everything out to a high standard and to be available yet not obtrusive. The little patio outside with its table and chairs was very comfy and it was agreeable to sit there and eat while the weather was warm.

The property is very well maintained and equipped for a family stay. Margaret and Roberto are excellent hosts, extremely kind and thoughtful. I would recommend The Chicken Shed to anyone wanting to stay in the Ashford area for a quiet break, but with plenty of amenities within a short drive.
