Lovely, peaceful and quiet country estate setting with very picturesque gardens to stroll around and enjoy. The staff were very helpful with some excellent restaurant recommendations in the local area. Breakfast was good and cooked fresh.

All amenities were available and fully working if needed at Thistle Cottage; the whole house was very comfortable and clean making it a perfect choice for a short stay in the beautiful surroundings within easy reach of RED LODGE. The property was very easy to find and parking was also very good; the neighbours were very friendly and the local shops were also well stocked with items that were required. It is a very pleasant area to stay in and explore: Mildenhall was only a short drive away and has a host of good places to eat or, if preferred, takeaway meals to suit most tastes. Chippenham Park is also a must see beauty spot where you can peacefully walk amongst excellent acres of delights. A most green and pleasant experience in a lovely part of the U.K.
