The Reception team were friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The dining team were friendly and welcoming. The location was fantastic as it is a short 3 min walk to the Cathedral and a 5 min walk to get to the High Street. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were pleasant and very obliging. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Facilities were excellent.

Location close to motorway. Good signage and easy to find. Warm welcome. Modern facilities. Quiet room. Decent coffee from refreshment stands on each floor. Easy option to opt out of room cleaning meaning great privacy and eco friendly. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom. Quiet ventilation systems (I hate noisy hvac systems cos it keeps me awake with noise and rattling grills).

This place is a gem, room retro with a bakealite working phone and working gramophone with LPs. Breakfast was a delight and quickly presented. Location for train was 200 yards downhill. I'm 68 and was trundling my two heavy cases easily to the train! Would very much recommend this little gem to anyone.!

Lovely refurbished room with a wonderful working well when it was very hot. Amazing shower and good wi-fi. Easy and safe parking. Only 12 minutes walk from city centre and restaurants.

The Devon Hotel was immediately off the highway, meaning no winding through industrial areas, central town streets etc. Reception was very friendly and welcoming, check-in quick and efficient. Our immaculately-clean and fresh-smelling room was ground level, quiet, and had parking immediately outside the door, so no lugging suitcases up stairs, onto elevators etc. There was even a small fridge next to the bed, the first we have encountered in three weeks of UK hotels. The restaurant attached has the most excellent buffet-style carvery available, with very reasonable prices. We only stayed one night, but couldn't be happier.

It’s an awesome property in a central location. Everything was stylish, of good quality and clean and there are some really interesting pieces of decor around too! Plus the staff were super helpful.

The property was very clean and well presented. It was perfectly situated for the town centre. It had everything we could need. It was a good size for the two of us. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Perfect location, lovely host and immaculate facilities

The apartment was as described. Lovely and clean, easy to gain entry to. Comfortable and well equipped. Location was great for shopping, Christmas market and seeing family. Parking in Magdeline Road car park is a 2-3 minute walk away. Apartment block was very quiet and clean too.
