What a great place! I think they upgraded us to the Sandpiper Room, which was a spacious room with large bathroom. So nicely decorated and cozy, with a view of the ocean and some lovely multi-colored cottages across the street. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The in-house restaurant was perfect which we enjoyed dinner and breakfast from an ample menu.

It was a beautiful Farmhouse with the loveliest hosts. Our room was super clean, cosy and a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable, I had a great nights sleep on both nights. The breakfast was outstanding!! Cereal, toast, pastries and a full English. Juices, tea and lovely fresh coffee. Lisa and Sam went above and beyond by taking us to the nearby wedding venue and collecting us. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Lewtrenchard is set in beautiful, tranquil grounds. The interior is full of character and charm-very much an English manor. The bedding was crisp and the bed comfortable, the bathroom was beautifully decorated, and the room very clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was exceptional-flavours were sophisticated and balanced, with high quality produce showcased. Each dish was a work of art.

Exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful hosts. They left breakfast in the fridge and even brought us some watermelon they had left. Great location, in between Lympstone and Exmouth, right by the estuary with nice clean air. Nice place to walk or cycle, also walkable from the train station, though do ask for directions from there as it's a bit tricky to find. Bed was very comfortable. The room is on the smaller side, but that makes it cozy and it's everything you need for the price. Only thing to consider is that there is no way to warm up food (except the kettle), in our case Helen was nice enough to do it for us :) Also the garden is lovely too, loved hearing and seeing the birds (and squirrel).
