Quiet aera nearby the river and not too far from Stachan (for the dinner) and Fettercairn (for the distillery). Probably one of the nicest night and stay of our 2 weeks trip in Scotland .

Location of the lodges was good, we had been before many years ago but further up on the higher ground. Did not expect the lodge to be a semi! However, the front was unoccupied so no problem. Shower was fantastic, heating brilliant and tons of hot water.
