Lovely house in amazing surroundings, with fantastic hosts. Well equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Good and tranquil location with nice views of the gardens and the main house. Comfortable beds.

Fab hideaway close to must see villages and landmarks. Gatehouse has its own secluded garden too so will visit again in summer

The whole experience was fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and the cottage is so beautifully presented. The faciliities in the village just round the whole thing off to perfection

Felix: I liked all of the space around the yurt - it was lovely countryside. Hannah: I liked the very comfy beds! Carmen: It was extremely clean. And that means something coming from an Austrian! Matt: I loved the location, walks, blackberry picking, and being right in the middle of nature away from it all.

Amazing property throughout , idyllic setting. Kids loved climbing the ladder to get to their beds. Hosts were great, and gave us a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return in the future.

It was a lovely, cozy, comfortable and well equipped cottage with everything we needed for a short romantic break. Good location, just a short leisurely walk from the centre of Long Melford where you find an ample supply of pubs, tea rooms, shops, antique emporiums, etc
