This is a great place to stay at! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was so welcoming and nice, that we regretted planning to stay just one night! We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in the room before going to Campbeltown and coming back at night. The location was good for us as we wanted to leave early the following day, but it is a bit far from Campbeltown.

We have been to Campbeltown at least 4 times. This is the best located of all the places we have stayed and probably the most comfortable too. If you happen to be there for a Friday or Saturday night you may want to book Restaurant 42 before arriving. We missed out as they were fully booked at the times we wanted. Because of this we went to the fish shop across the road and bought fresh fish which we cooked at ‘home’. Beautiful fresh fish (herring for us) and a few interesting prepared items too. The Co.-op is easy walking distance. We had one little problem, which Dawn sorted within an hour! Brilliant. They deserve their high ranking, we look forward to returning.

Very comfortable room. Well equipped. Easy parking outside. Next door to well-equipped shop and cafe where breakfast was served. Good location for Tarbert ferry to Islay and also ferry for a day trip to Gigha.

The staff, design, layout, modern accommodation blended very carefully into an old building. Clever use of space, thoughtfully designed and furnished. Staff all very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. Beds extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, excellent crisp quality linen, towels and bathrobes. Good parking, Very safe, comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable.
