We were met by the owners who were friendly and welcoming. Cottage was in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. It was spotlessly clean, coal and logs supplied for fire. Comfy 4 poster bed. Single bedroom also. Basket and blankets supplied for a dog. Information for walks, pubs etc., Had a wonderful Sun lunch at Rose and Crown in Slaithwaite. Highly recommend this beautiful cottage and will return soon. Hope for some sunshine next time! Thankyou for making our Golden Wedding a happy memory.

Everything was amazing there wasnt anything i could fault this place on…. Garden & hot tub were on point with the hot tub been a log burner, u can stay warm near it if ur out of tub aswel….. nothing to fault the place on! Shower was excellent…… Will definitely be coming back 👍🏼

Lovely old character cottage with log burner and a piano which my brother played. I liked the old - fashioned clothes drying rack above the fireplace.Panoramic views from the lounge and two of the bedrooms . Great communication from the hosts and welcoming coffee and biscuits!.

Gail and Rob are excellent hosts and gave a lovely welcome (with Dexter). The apartment was spotless, super clean, has everything you need and is very comfortable. I will be back, hopefully with a motorbike next time! Highly recommend Stone Eater, loved it!

The location was beautiful and views completely stunning. Wendy and Gary gave lots of little touches inside the cottage to make you feel comfortable and completely at home. Excellent hosts. They were wonderful. Husband and I loved the cottage experience.
