The bedroom was very large. We had plenty of space, slept in a fourposter bed, enjoyed a comfy sofa and a had a desk to sit at for a tea. The bathroom had the same sice as the bedroom. bathroom is fitted with a large shower and a bathtub and two Handwaschbecken. And we had a small dressing-room to store our suitcases. We had the option to use most of the rooms - all so the nicely decorated in the style of a grand house - on the groundfloor. We went on a walk in the area. Our hosts gave us great advice what to do. Breakfast was served in the dining room. The quality of the food was excellent. All in all a Perfect Stay in a well kept country house.

The location of the lodge is great for travelling around. The lodge is so comfortable and had everything you would need to make your stay just like home. The garden was lovely. Met our host Michelle who was friendly and very helpful. Would most definitely stay again.

I loved the homely atmosphere of this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was looked after. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. Location was fabulous. Walking distance to town. I had breakfast included. The food including room service was excellent.
