The property is set in peaceful surroundings with stunning views, the location was a little hard to find but beautiful when you get there. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by the hosts. It was a great base for us to go off and explore the beautiful sights of Scotland. The bothy accommodated our every need, with exceptional facilities provided. Highly recommended

Everything - this is absolutely the most perfect place with lovely homely touches in the room (biscuits, hot chocolate, teas, and fresh milk). The breakfast was outstanding and everything is clearly locally sourced. Everyone there is so helpful and accommodating, couldn’t recommend the place more. I definitely will be coming back when possible.

We had a really lovely stay. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to welcome. They have a secure bike shed which was great for us travelling with bikes. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed. Food & breakfast was also great!

The house and grounds were stunning. The places we wanted to visit were within the right distance, and the deer were such a lovely addition as we knew they were going to be there yet didn't realise how much we would see them. Shops close by, and even on a relaxing day there is soo much to explore.

Comfortable, clean and quiet. Owners did so much to help us feel comfortable and at home, including tea in our room upon arrival, accommodating our delayed arrival, sharing time and stories with us and cooking hot breakfast early next day. Very convenient location for breaking up trip from Edinburgh to Orkneys.
