Super place, excellent location for Yeats country and Sligo in general. Probably best self- catering we have stayed in in Ireland. Easy access to a main road but quiet.

Everything! Staff was warm and friendly, especially the Castle dog! Food and drinks were amazing, and the Castle and grounds were breathtaking! Received a free room upgrade with a footed tub and garden view. Loved exploring the Castle and grounds, finding fabulous things around every corner!

We really enjoyed staying there. We were looking for a nice escape in the countryside and this cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Anne and her husband are really nice people as well! They have Donkeys, chickens and a nice dog! That was a plus to have animals around. The location is perfect for people looking for a 'nature' trip. We don't drive but we walked everywhere and that was really pleasant! Sligo is not sor far and I recommend the walk to Maeve's grave!

Breakfast was excellent, but requires more table space. The grounds are large and beautifully manicured. An impressive building with guests not being confined to rooms, as there is large TV room, pool room and grand piano. Definitely a lot of bang for the buck and the host Gerry is pleasant and accommodating.
