A nice family-run hotel with a friendly and attentive host. The room was very clean and comfortable with daily housekeeping. The parking was convenient and free. We enjoyed many delicious meals in the cosy restaurant and loved the view of the mountains. Thank you for a lovely, restful stay.

An exceptional family-run hotel where three generations work together to provide the kind of genuine hospitality that’s becoming increasingly rare. We arrived after our motorcycle wouldn’t start while we were an hour away from the hotel and urgently needed a car for a two-hour round trip. Within minutes of our arrival, the owner simply handed us the keys to his car. That level of trust and generosity says everything about this place. The hotel offers outstanding value for money. It’s easy to find on main road, yet with windows and shutters closed, it’s wonderfully quiet. Our room and bathroom were both generously sized, with beautiful mountain views. We slept exceptionally well on a very comfortable bed (something I rarely do), and, ( in spite of my fears) didn’t see a single mosquito during our six-night stay. Breakfast is generous and included, with freshly cooked eggs available on request. The restaurant is another real highlight—the tuna steak was excellent. Every time we ate there, there were local people dining as well, which is always a great sign of authentic, high-quality food at fair prices. A perfect base for exploring Como lake by motorcycle, with exceptional hospitality, great food, comfortable accommodation and unbeatable value. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stunning view over Lago di Como and the mountains. Hearty and welcoming owner family, always ready to help even with problems not related to accommodation. Flexible arrival times, we had car problems and arrived in the middle in the night.

This hotel is new, beautiful and very comfortable! Bed comfy, bathroom outstanding - coffee, fridge & all that you need! Location is excellent - walking distance to many restaurants and ferry stop. Staff are amazing - friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. Free parking was great!

I was so thankful to find this beautiful place to stay when another property that I had booked failed to respond to any messages about my changed dates of travel. I booked this place and almost immediately heard from the owner. It was comfortable and the views were awesome. It's ideal for people who want some peace and quiet away from the crowds at Como but with a view of the lake. I would advise only booking if you have a car or rent one and also if you're renting a small car is best. We had a fiat panda but a fiat 500 or something that size would have been equally comfortable. We do drive on the left where we come from so people who drive on the right at home may be more confident but the road up is quite bendy. I actually enjoyed this drive and it brings you up to the most beautiful view. We would absolutely go back here again.

It is too bad that one cen rate only 10 points. I would give 20. So nice, comfortable and fully equipped appartment. Kind owners. We have been in a lot of appartments but this one is uniqe, outstanding. As the ownwer says: good energy. It is not far from the lake so no problem if you have a car. Everything new, very clean and comfortable. extra comfortable mattrasses. We were afrad of the stone house (because of cold) but there is and great heating in an appartment.

Unique property with a lot of custom made details such as the outside fireplace/ BBQ. More like a very comfortable mountain lodge. Great view from 500m above the lake. Bedrooms are beautiful and can fit 6 people.

Christian is the perfect host. He is very friendly and uncomplicated. The place is full of thoughtful detail showing that Christian has devoted much passion to renovating the ex-chicken coop. I loved the local and eco touches he has added to the place. It's quiet and the bed is comfortable. He gave us many useful tips for beaches, restaurants and hikes. The view was breathtaking. A freezer would have been great to make ice cubes for an apérol spritz to enjoy the Italian evenings ;)

The location was spectacular, on arrival it was sheer delight seeing a wonderful alpine stone type Lodge with views unique and peaceful compared to the busy roads by the lake. Our hosts Sandro and Elda could not be more helpful and generous. They are truly kind and wonderful people. The Lodge was extremely clean and complete with everything we needed for our stay. The views and walks are breathtaking. Further up the mountain road there is a bar/cafe restaurant where we walked to , ordered a wine and sat overlooking lake Como. It was magical . From our base we were able to explore most of lake Como, a lot of the towns and we even popped over the border to Switzerland in Lugano which was all accessible by car. We loved our stay ❤️. We had a coffee and grappa with our hosts who grow and produce wonderful fruit and vegetables and live a unique,fascinating and wonderful lifestyle in chestnut tree forrestation utilising all what nature provides and working hard to achieve beautiful lodges and share a dream and vision with anyone who wishes to experience a totally special and unforgettable time. Sandro built the lodges over a long period of time , 17 years. Its remarkable 👏, this for me is a place where I am so happy with my experience. I Feel privileged to have stayed and felt the passion and love for the location. There's so much wonderful words I should be writing here but they won't do the experience any justice. We were provided a tour by Sandro, of the the crops , where we were invited to pick our own blueberries, some blackberries for our journey onwards. Wonderful memories, thankyou Sandro and Elda. ❤️❤️❤️ By the the grappa , the porcini mushrooms, blueberries, the alcoholic blueberries (speciality) where amazing and we will remember this for a very long time x
