Self Catering Accommodation in Bugiallo

Stunning view over Lago di Como and the mountains. Hearty and welcoming owner family, always ready to help even with problems not related to accommodation. Flexible arrival times, we had car problems and arrived in the middle in the night.

Super friendly and great facilities. Wish we had our kids with us. Ha ha

Everyhting was really good. Excellent staff, super friendly. Accommodation was really good too! I would definitely recommend Italia 90 to anybody who loves camping! Great experience. We will definitely come back again.

The lady on the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming- despite my short, balding friend being immature and trying to start a fight with my other group member, she remained professional and welcomed us into the property. Will definitely come back!

The perfect place, great people. We were glad to stay and will back later.

It is too bad that one cen rate only 10 points. I would give 20. So nice, comfortable and fully equipped appartment. Kind owners. We have been in a lot of appartments but this one is uniqe, outstanding. As the ownwer says: good energy. It is not far from the lake so no problem if you have a car. Everything new, very clean and comfortable. extra comfortable mattrasses. We were afrad of the stone house (because of cold) but there is and great heating in an appartment.

Christian is the perfect host. He is very friendly and uncomplicated. The place is full of thoughtful detail showing that Christian has devoted much passion to renovating the ex-chicken coop. I loved the local and eco touches he has added to the place. It's quiet and the bed is comfortable. He gave us many useful tips for beaches, restaurants and hikes. The view was breathtaking. A freezer would have been great to make ice cubes for an apérol spritz to enjoy the Italian evenings ;)

What an absolutely phenomenal holiday we had here. We travelled outside the UK for the first time with our 3 children, our son has autism, it's always a worry when we go somewhere we don't know because we always need to think about his safety. This house ticked every box possible. The gate locks by key so we are able to let him play in the courtyard area without worrying that he will open the gate and run out. The pictures do no justice to this beautiful holiday home whatsoever. It was expectionally clean, everything you need is there ready, it has the most stunning, breath taking view. We stayed there for 7 days, every time we looked out of the balcony, the view took our breath away. Now the hosts: words are not enough to describe how incredibly helpful, kind, generous and amazing they are. We didn't realise we needed a car to get around, Claudia and Simone went above and beyond helping us find a rental car on the day we arrived. Lorenzo was also extremely helpful and did all he could to make sure we had what we needed and helped us find a taxi when we needed to leave. The whole family is absolutely beautiful and we can't believe just how lucky we have been to have them as our first hosts. They were so kind and loving with my kids, patient with my son. My daughters absolutely loved them. They have two lovely dogs, Rocky and Ricki, sweetest little things. We will definitely be back in the future, they have left a big impression in our hearts. If you are thinking to book a holiday in Italy, do not pass on this host! You will have an incredible time!

The location was spectacular, on arrival it was sheer delight seeing a wonderful alpine stone type Lodge with views unique and peaceful compared to the busy roads by the lake. Our hosts Sandro and Elda could not be more helpful and generous. They are truly kind and wonderful people. The Lodge was extremely clean and complete with everything we needed for our stay. The views and walks are breathtaking. Further up the mountain road there is a bar/cafe restaurant where we walked to , ordered a wine and sat overlooking lake Como. It was magical . From our base we were able to explore most of lake Como, a lot of the towns and we even popped over the border to Switzerland in Lugano which was all accessible by car. We loved our stay ❤️. We had a coffee and grappa with our hosts who grow and produce wonderful fruit and vegetables and live a unique, fascinating and wonderful lifestyle in chestnut tree forrestation utilising all what nature provides and working hard to achieve beautiful lodges and share a dream and vision with anyone who wishes to experience a totally special and unforgettable time. Sandro built the lodges over a long period of time , 17 years. Its remarkable 👏, this for me is a place where I am so happy with my experience. I Feel privileged to have stayed and felt the passion and love for the location. There's so much wonderful words I should be writing here but they won't do the experience any justice. We were provided a tour by Sandro, of the the crops , where we were invited to pick our own blueberries, some blackberries for our journey onwards. Wonderful memories, thankyou Sandro and Elda. ❤️❤️❤️ By the the grappa , the porcini mushrooms, blueberries, the alcoholic blueberries (speciality) where amazing and we will remember this for a very long time x

I was so thankful to find this beautiful place to stay when another property that I had booked failed to respond to any messages about my changed dates of travel. I booked this place and almost immediately heard from the owner. It was comfortable and the views were awesome. It's ideal for people who want some peace and quiet away from the crowds at Como but with a view of the lake. I would advise only booking if you have a car or rent one and also if you're renting a small car is best. We had a fiat panda but a fiat 500 or something that size would have been equally comfortable. We do drive on the left where we come from so people who drive on the right at home may be more confident but the road up is quite bendy. I actually enjoyed this drive and it brings you up to the most beautiful view. We would absolutely go back here again.

Great view on como lake, good parking. Nice stay for a good price

Unique property with a lot of custom made details such as the outside fireplace/ BBQ. More like a very comfortable mountain lodge. Great view from 500m above the lake. Bedrooms are beautiful and can fit 6 people.
