⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Moshik and Our Incredible Stay at Villa Bertagni! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Villa Bertagni was an absolute delight, and it was largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Moshik, our wonderful host. From the moment we arrived, Moshik's warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. Let's start with the breakfast - oh my, it was simply scrumptious! Moshik made sure that we had a wide array of delectable options to choose from, catering to every palate. Each morning, we looked forward to starting our day with this delightful spread. But it wasn't just the breakfast that impressed us. Moshik's knowledge about the area was unparalleled. He enthusiastically shared valuable insights about all the must-see places and hidden gems in the surroundings. Thanks to him, we were able to explore the area to the fullest and make the most of our vacation. Villa Bertagni itself was a slice of paradise. The tranquil ambiance and the well-maintained pools were a real treat, especially after a day of sightseeing. The beautiful surroundings added to the overall charm, making it a perfect retreat to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the perfect location of Villa Bertagni, which offered fantastic hiking opportunities around the area. The nearby trails and scenic routes allowed us to immerse ourselves in nature's beauty, providing breathtaking views and memorable experiences. Moshik even recommended the best routes based on our preferences, making our hiking adventures even more enjoyable. Moshik's attention to detail and genuine care for his guests truly set him apart. He anticipated our needs before we even asked, ensuring that we lacked nothing during our stay. Everything was exactly as in the description of the accommodation. Nicely decorated and extremely clean. The hostess Silvia is very kind and warm-hearted, and the breakfast she prepares herself is delicious. 😊

its pretty much perfect. the House is fantastic and the location is wunderfull lifted above Castenuovo Di Garfagnana. Poulo and his wife where impecabal hosts. Even brought my son a birthday-cake. Even though the House hasn’ t got aircondition its så cleveræu designes that the sleeping-Roms keep cool. Pool was great and the sovs to die for. Garfagnano god everythint you need.

The farm is located somewhere very quiet and green. It's also possible to walk from there to Castelnuovo del Gargafnana. The facilities are good - a decent kitchen area and most utensils provided. The apartment was well heated.

Last week, while traveling to Tuscany, my wife and I lost ourselves in the Castelnuovo di Garfagnana surroundings. It was getting dark, and we couldn't find a hotel or even a place to park our car. After getting a tip from a gentle lady nearby La Lanterna Hotel, I decided to book a room for us through Booking.com without even getting more information about the hotel. What a pleasant surprise we had when we finally managed to get to the place! Massimo, who manages the place and met us at the reception is probably one of the nicest guys we had the chance to meet during our time in Italy. Super friendly and extremely polite and attentive. To be 100% honest, all the hotel staff was so nice to us, and the hotel facilities were so great that my wife and I ended up regretting having planned our stay there for only one day. To Massimo and all the La Lanterna staff, our most sincere thanks! Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is the place of birth of my great-great-grandfather, and a lovely small Tuscan city recommended to all those travelers looking for peace, tranquility, and beautiful Italian landscapes. We left the La Lanterna Hotel hoping to return there as soon as possible! Thanks again, Massimo! A presto! 🇮🇹

The location for us was vitally important to explore the Garfagniana area. Road up to the Pallezzeto was a little hair raising and had to be taken carefully but once there the views were spectacular. The house I grant you is a little old fashioned and simple but this added to its charm. It was fully equipped for 6 people with plenty of cups plates etc if you want to eat in. But the restaurants in the area are in abundance. The hot tub was fun also. I must say if your looking for 5 star luxury this is not for you. If your looking for typical rustic Garfagniana CHARM then this is a must. The hosts Paolo and Marie Christana were fantastic they met us and supplied plenty of local info on the area which was updated the second week together with a linen and towel change. Would I book this house ABSOLUTELY.
