I don’t know how to properly explain this experience, it was so lovely. Keti is the perfect host, she is a big part of your stay here and the whole reason i recommend this place. The beautiful mountain view, lovely creek and very clean modern style home are just extra’s to the charm this lovely lady brings to your stay. She is a host who will stop at nothing to make your stay as perfect as can be, baking delicious treats late at night to serve you for breakfast, cleaning the whole house whenever you leave for the day. She feels like a grandma taking care of you as her own children. She also has very nice stories to tell and even though she’s critical of her own English skills it’s well worth to listen to her interesting chats through translation. Going for a walk around the mountains with her two funny dogs is a fun experience too. Thank you Keti, we will come again!

The warmth and sincerity of the welcome on our arrival and during our entire stay was heartfelt and natural. The property is a beautiful old Italian Villa furnished in the traditional style with its own unique charm and quirks. Set in its owns grounds in a breathtaking setting with parking for all who were present. Our room was huge with ample space for our many bags. On our first evening we drove into Scarperia for Pizza. Breakfast the following morning at the villa was in the dining room with extremely attentive hosts. They asked if we wanted to dine in the villa that evening, we accepted and did so for the following two evenings as well. Renata and Loretta aided by Claudio and other staff went to considerable detail and effort to cater for our pescatarian diet. Sommelier Massimo recommended an excellent wine for our first evening meal, we stayed with that choice for our other two evening meals at the villa. We dined outside and watched as Basil and Rosemary was picked from the garden for our food. It could not have been fresher. We enjoyed the most delicious pasta meals we have ever tasted. In summary it was a unique experience in a beautiful setting with caring hosts and superb food. Thank you.

Excellent value, friendly staff, fabulous evening meal and breakfast. We booked two rooms, one was much bigger with a lounge area the other more basic but both clean, comfortable and great value

Clean, spacious in a very quite locatiom

We are usual guests of this structure. We like everything: accomodation, swimming pool, breakfast, cleaness. Sabrina is a great General Manager / Owner. And her Staff / Collaborators are great as well. Everything works perfectly.

Arriving as the sun set on our bikes, we were greeted warmly and shown a sheltered spot for our two wheels. Spacious rooms. Common area to relax in. Fantastic dinner. Attentive and kind hosts. Very nice breakfast. Wonderful views: late September, so mist rising from the valley in the morning. A secluded spot on a quiet rode but near enough to town. Would love to return.

Absolutely fantastic property. Location is great and very near to Mugello Circuit. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and had great parking. The property is beautiful inside and I would recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic property in the heart of the Tuscan hills. Also the host was very helpful and welcoming, I will definitely be staying again!

perfect b&b to rest in the hills after a couple of days in busy Bologna and Florence. The hosts are super welcoming, views are stunning, homemade dinner on the terrasse is wonderful. Whether you're looking for a place to rest on a walk, or like us for a quiet place after the busy cities, I can only recommend Podere Belvedere!

The hospitality and kindness of the owners was fantastic. Despite the language barrier. Genuinely kind people. The food was great, especially the pasta. The location was perfect for the mugello circuit, just a short pleasant drive. I would have no hesitation staying again. Thank you for all of your help.

Our group of 6 adults had a fabulous week at Villa Filippo. The property is even more beautiful in reality than in the photos, with spacious bedrooms, comfortable living areas and many varied outdoor terraces and balconies, as well as the lovely pool area. There is lots of space for parking, and we would advise having a car, though the nearest shops and bars are just a few kms away. Its elevated position offers a stunning panorama and also a welcome breeze in the hot summer months. It is equipped like a real home, with everyone that could possibly be needed. The house is very private and is ideal for relaxing. Wifi was fast and reliable. The owners are nearby but unobtrusive and could not have been kinder, more welcoming or more helpful. A delicious homemade cake awaited our arrival, and we are extremely grateful for Elisa's generous assistance throughout our stay as well as all her suggestions for dining/wine-tasting/what to do in the local area, which were always excellent. We recommend the property without hesitation and would love to return.
