We stayed with Laura on the first day of our trip and had a wonderful experience. She was incredibly kind and attentive, and the cappuccino she prepared for us while we enjoyed the mountain views was a perfect welcome to the Dolomites. The final stretch of road is narrow and winding, but easily manageable and absolutely worth it for the location and views.
