Ambiance, tradition, Barbara the manager is fantastic. The wine is like the best Chiantis, classico and Supertuscans, great rose and a funky sparkling rose with the yeast left, fresh in the heat. Visit Simone for a tasting in the castles wineshop and enjoy the best cooking and atmosphere at il Cavalieri the amazing restaurant on the property. The team at the restaurant is amazing and herbs and vegetables grown right there.The pool area is like a dream . Every minute at Castello Di Gabbiano is like being in a movie.

Everything was magical , Gianna and her family husband and son received us as friends from life , we were treated as family, Gianna’s food was glorious , Julio’s her son taught us how they made wine , the vineyards the pool the garden , the flowers , even Giotto their dog was loving , we had an amazing time there we didn’t wanted to end Mercatale Val di Pesa in Chianti is a small town of vineyards , peaceful and beautiful I sightseeing if you want to taste good wine , relax and enjoy La Toscana

I had the most delightful stay at Cipresso Toscano in Mercatale val di Pesa! This charming apartment, located in the heart of the scenic Chianti region, provided the perfect Tuscan countryside experience while still being just a short 20-minute drive from the center of Florence. The apartment itself was a cozy and inviting space. The large kitchen with a traditional fireplace added a touch of rustic charm, and the brand new appliances and high-speed fiber internet made it modern and convenient. The best part was that Netflix was included, so I could unwind and enjoy some shows after a day of exploring. One of my favorite features was the south-west facing terrace, where I could soak up the sun during breakfasts and lunches. The apartment was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The living room's leather sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the master bedroom was spacious with a cozy mattress and topper. The bathroom had a shower and a washing machine, which was convenient for longer stays. Speaking of which, for stays over 5 days, they offered a voucher for purchasing local products - a thoughtful gesture that allowed me to experience the authentic flavors of Chianti. Getting around was easy as the apartment was accessible by both car and public transport. The nearby bus stop made it convenient for exploring the area without a vehicle. Mercatale val di Pesa itself was a gem in Chianti, maintaining its authenticity with friendly locals and shops offering genuine products at local prices. The local butcher and baker were particularly outstanding, providing some of the best meats, cheeses, and sourdough bread I've tasted. Overall, my stay at Cipresso Toscano was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the Tuscan countryside, with the added convenience of being close to Florence, I highly recommend this place. I'm already planning my next visit to this wonderful oasis!

Stunning winery in Tuscany! What a dream it was to stay in such a beautiful place. The owners clearly love their property and treat it with care. Bonus is that it is part of an amazing winery that you can do a wine tasting and have lunch. Comfortable bedrooms and great kitchen to cook in. We only hope that we can come back soon to stay again.
