The location is just amazing. Stunning views, pure nature, beautiful villa and huge parking. Rooms are big and super clean. Excellent food. All the people working there are incredibly nice. The cooking class was a cherry on top.

We loved its quiet location, the scenery, the friendly staff and lovely new facilities. The refreshing dip in the unheated hot tub (it can be heated by fire) was a welcome reprieve from the weather. The helpful staff and warm and welcoming nature of the place was a great experience. We missed out on dinner in the bistro and the cooking class but will be excited to return again to experience all Borgo Scaffaia has to offer!

Very calm and quite rural place, huge olive garden. Clean swimming pool. Selfcatering. Supermarket in Dicomano. Fresh mountain air - its 350m up the valley.

One of the friendliest most welcoming places I have ever stayed. The hosts were wonderfully attentive and helpful without being intrusive. They helped us book restaurants and recommended days out. All there recommendations where great. The house was stunning. It was large and beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The photos really don’t do it justice. The beds were really comfortable and it was amazingly clean. Don’t let the lack of AC put you off this is an old building and despite the 40 degree heat it was still cool inside. It’s set in wonderful countryside with quick connections to Florence by train and close to Supermarkets and small villages that are great to explore. It was an amazing place we wish we could have stayed longer.

I travelled with 3 kids, including a 10months baby. They welcomed us with a baby crib, baby chair and baby bathtub in the room. All 3 kids enjoyed the facilities, including the spa, pool, play area, tennis court. We even went for a bike tour as a family, they had bikes for all ages! On top of that, the breakfast was delicious and the nature around was breathtaking. Some days we explored Tuscany, everything was 1hr away, and some days we just stayed in and relaxed. It was the perfect place to stay!

Fantastic property - we LOVED everything. Simona and her family were the most wonderful hosts and nothing was a bother. The property was very clean, comfortable and stocked with a couple of extras. The view outside of the fields was awesome … fabulous to have a meal or appertif gazing at the beautiful vista. It was convenient to Mugello and a short walk to town.

Property is beautiful beyond words. There is sense of privacy although all the homes were occupied.
