One of the friendliest most welcoming places I have ever stayed. The hosts were wonderfully attentive and helpful without being intrusive. They helped us book restaurants and recommended days out. All there recommendations where great. The house was stunning. It was large and beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The photos really don’t do it justice. The beds were really comfortable and it was amazingly clean. Don’t let the lack of AC put you off this is an old building and despite the 40 degree heat it was still cool inside. It’s set in wonderful countryside with quick connections to Florence by train and close to Supermarkets and small villages that are great to explore. It was an amazing place we wish we could have stayed longer.

The photos do not do this place justice! Beautifully decorated, lots of art, spacious living room, wooden floors, high cealing, big bathroom, and a proper place to wash and hang your clothes on the balcony, extremely practical when hiking. Communication was good, both the hostess and her mom were very welcoming. They serve an Italian breakfast which was in itself good, but since we were hiking we needed a bit more substance. There is a supermarket nearby and the b&b has a large kitchen that can be used so it was very easy to make some eggs or prepare lunch. We really liked this place, one of our favourite stays along the via degli dei!
