The room smells of cedar, which is incredibly refreshing and relaxing. The location is unbeatable (right above a coffee shop and on the main boulevard) and the experience was entirely autonomous from check in to check out. The beds are very comfortable and large.

A traditional Japanese home overlooking a stunning Japanese garden. If you’re wondering, yes, it has those sliding paper doors. The owner lives close by and we met him and his lovely wife the next morning after checking in. It was nice of them to take us on a quick tour around the area. The place is perfect for a relaxing peaceful stay. Isurugi station is five minutes away and there is a convenience store nearby.
