The rooms are extremely clean, spacious & comfortable. The shower was spacious & I love the rain bath & shower. Both had strong water pressure. We received very attentive service. Staff responded almost immediately whenever we called. Our location is within walking distance to the Hakone-Yumoto Station. Extremely convenient when sightseeing. There is a 7-11 convenience store close by & a famous Ramen noodle shop a stone's throw from the hotel. Always a queue outside the store. Lot's of food stalls in the vicinity. . Really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Zagakukan.

Hakone Suimeiso ligger 3 minutters gange fra Hakone Yumoto stasjon og en 15-minutters spasertur fra Sounji-tempelet.
Yuki, our host, looked after us as soon as we arrived, and talked us through the aspects of ryokan dining that were unfamiliar to us. Then, she expertly served us our dinner of many perfectly-prepared kaiseki dishes, each one more delightful than the last. After this, our beds were prepared, and we slept comfortably through the night. The next morning, the beds were stowed, and Yuki served us our breakfast - another extravagant and wonderful meal.

the location is near to hakone-yumato station which is around 7 to 12 min walk, the whole ambient was very relaxing, not much people walking pass the street. The private sauna (bathing) downstairs which you will need to write down your slot on the whiteboard outside. we don't see any other booked their slot so we manage to go at our favor timing. Not sure isit the only bathroom in the house, but for our room, we do not have any bathroom, so the sauna is only place to bath. There is only stair, so might not be suitable for elderly. The Soup in the fridge is delicious.

Boasting a range of hot-spring baths with mountain views, in-room Japanese meals and massages, Yaeikan is 650 metres from Hakone-Yumoto Train Station.
The stay at Ryokan Yaeikan was a highlight of our week in Japan. The personnel don't speak English very well but are such a lovely and friendly people. Google translate helped. The room with yukatas was amazing, we loved it. The building itself is also beautiful and walking distance from the train station. We also had kaiseri dinner and brakfast and it was good experience with a lot to eat. There are four onsens: one for ladies, one for gentlemen, one you can book for private use at check-inn and one you can use privately always when the door is open.

Situated atop a hill in Hakone, Gyokutei offers an authentic Japanese accommodation with an indoor hot spring bath. Hakoneyumoto Train Station is a leisurely 8-minute walk from the ryokan.
The service was top notch. All 3 of us enjoyed the great dinner and breakfast served in our room. The rooms are very spacious. As a small ryokan, the couple of times that I used the public onsen there was no one so enjoyed that much more than the in room one. It is a 10 minutes walk from the train station but if you have luggage you would want a taxi as it is on a bit of a hill
