Unlike many grand old hotels, this one certainly lived up to the hype. The room was modern and exceedingly spacious with a full sized walk in closet and double bathroom. The balcony was also spacious and we appreciated the fact that ours overlooked the patio area of the hotel rather than the noisier Casino area. From the valet, to the reception staff, concierge and doorman, all were very friendly and helpful. We were also given complimentary use of the hotel's spa to shower and change after we had checked out as we had a late flight to catch.

A top notch establishment, despite what I recognise Novotel’s brand as being something of a budget chain in the UK, here in Monaco Novotel is something else entirely. Fine dining, exemplary service and high comfort and class. Parking was impressively spacious and clean, although slightly tight access and egress for sports and supercars, it’s entirely doable.
