Hotels with Parking in Bacalar

We came to Hotel Playa Laguna Front to unplug, relax, and enjoy the lagoon -- and that's exactly what we did for 5 days. The hotel is in a prime location, sitting at perhaps the most colorful, swimmer-friendly part of the lagoon. You can tell it's a prime spot because a lot of boat tours end around this area to let people swim in the lighter waters there near the cenote. It's also only a couple kms from the town center, so you can easily get into town while still having enough distance from the more touristy center. The hotel itself isn't a fancy upscale place, but that's not what we were looking for. Nonetheless the hotel is new and the facilities are clean/modern with great bathrooms. The hotel is run by a lovely team who were really accommodating...big thanks to the manager Evaristo for always being there to help with any questions. Another great thing is that the kayaks and sup-boards are free to use from 6am to 6pm. The only day you can't use them is on Wednesday when no water activities (other than swimming) are allowed across the lagoon. Wednesdays are conservation days, with inactivity allowing the lagoon to restore itself.

The location is ideal. Little bit further away from the main town but this is a good thing. You would ideally need a car to stay here. The staff are really nice and helpful. The restaurant on site is delicious. The lake is beautiful and the free rental of SUP boards and kayaks is brilliant. We had the most amazing stay here, thank you.

Amazing structure with the right level of privacy, the access to the laguna is well designed as well all the isolated units. Once we arrived we have requested to upgrade (paying the difference) to the lagoon units as more spacious and with an incredible view (Lucy that they were available). Healthy breakfast and kayak ready to use make the stay incredible, perfect place for relax, and working remotely. Good internet connection, no issues for working and perfect for long video calls.

The location is very convenient and closer to majority of the water sports activities. Excellent customer service, very helpful. The Hotel is value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay at Bacalar.

Everything! Solana was exceptionally clean and tidy, the food and drinks were incredible! The cocktails were out of this world and the staff were lovely!!

The location is very good. The people working seemed nice, it's a shame they don't invest in the appearance and maintenance of the place!!

Location was perfect, Room was amazing. Ultra clean. Family owned and run. Could walk from the ADO bus station (1.5 km maybe). Just up the road from the lagoon. And close to the centre, for food, drink and nightlife. Provided water to refill bottles, free coffee all day, and basic breakfast was provided. Thumbs up. Definite hidden gem in Bacalar. Maria was great, so helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Best stay in Mexico so far, while touring.

This was our favourite place we have stayed in so far on our trip. The double bed and balcony room was so authentic and perfect. The room was brilliantly cleaned everyday. The communal area featured a fridge, microwave and free water as well as utensils to make breakfast and lunch. The location was perfect too, just a short walk to the restaurants and lagoon. The family that run the case were extremely helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again!

This was a really nice place to stay. Loved that each room was a little independent house with the traditional thatched roof and great private outdoor shower. Humble and simple design meets the generous large room and bed. The central location was great. Other reviewers wrote about the noise from the neighboring club. I stayed on a Sunday and all was peaceful and quite. They have access to a beach club, which I did not go, and also a discount at a decent food spot close-by.
