For me, the BEST hotel in Mexico!!! Unfortunately, I was only there for one night, as I was just passing through. 😒 Where should I start? The staff were very, very friendly. Especially PEPE—he was always smiling 😃. Pepe, many greetings to you. The room was very clean and spacious. No spiders, no other insects. The bed was comfortable!!! The bathroom was very clean. There was nothing to complain about. I really looked, but I couldn’t find anything negative. I work in the hotel industry myself (management), and I know where to look. I have no idea why some guests rated it poorly!!! If this hotel isn’t for you, then you need to go to a 5-star hotel!!! I really can’t rate anything negatively. For me, it was comfortable!!! 2 pools, a restaurant, directly on the main road, and across the street a beautiful cenote “IK KIL,” where I went swimming. TOP location!!! Perfect place to stay for access to Chichen Itza, an easy walk with our 6 and 9 year old. Loved the staff, pool, spacious site. We took the collectivo from Valladolid and they drop you right outside.

We liked everything. The people were lovely, they invited us to their NYE tradition of writing down what you don't want to take from the old to the new year and burning it. The rooms were the cleanest we've experienced in Mexico so far and a place to open two suitcases up off the ground which is rare. Styled very well. Restaurant service was great. Pool area was lovely. They had local band Come and play at dinner.

Very nice house, very close to Chichen Itza. Instructions were clear. Checkout was at noon, so we visited the site at 8 am (be there early!), and afterwards, we could use the facilities until noon. Rooms were clean, and the toilet at the small garden was cool :). Kitchen well stocked, maybe the best in Mexico we encountered.

Surrounded by tropical forests, this retreat hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Mayan ruins of Chichen-Itza. It offers a spa and meditation area, a lake and an outdoor pool.

This hotel was such a wonderful place to be. Set back from the main road, with all the buildings nestled in the trees. We stayed in the suite and it was so lovely for the price. Staff were very helpful and sweet. The upper pool area was very relaxing and we had lunch served to the beach beds. Not sure what’s going on with the bigger lower pool, looked a bit dilapidated but didn’t bother us because we used the other one. You need a car there. We went to Chichenitza one morning at 8:30 and beat the crowds, it’s about 10 mins away by car.
