The place is majestic, the staff was very welcoming, the facilities were very confortable. They are upbringing fruit trees that help reforest the area, and the staff overlooking this project is very passionate about this. It is near the Boquete area which is a well know touristic destination, so Wanakaset is the perfect place to both rest and do outdoor activities.

Loved the location by a babbling brook (which you can cool off in) We had great seating options for our cabin: comfortable chairs inside, patio chairs, and a hammock. Great birding.

Establishment is clean and close to Boquete. Place has cooking tools for bbq and seating outside.

The tree house is cool. Right by the river. The casita was amazing, clean, well stocked, had everything, attention to detail!! The river is amazing, refreshing in the heat.

Caldera River Canyon / El Rio Encantado is Panama’s best kept secret. This ecological environmental preserve is pristine and shows the natural beauty of the Chiriqui Highlands of Panama. I can speak from hiking many of the trails in Chiriqui and this place is the best. The grounds,cabins and surrounding area are kept immaculate.The pool/bar area an oasis, with the pool water crisp. A birder’s paradise with multiple view points.If the pool is not enough there are multiple swimming holes on the river. The staff, Farsi, is awesome and helpful. The 3km trail along the river will not disappoint with the variety of birds,vegetation and views. All accommodations were built with a total respect for the natural environment. An amazing place. Thank you Frank, for sharing your knowledge, for giving us a tour of your museum and a breathtaking hike through your paradise.

Really cosy and comfortable and clean. A/C working and hot water shower. Nice and neat. We will definitely stay there again on our travels. Fully equipped kitchen even with air fryer.

Amazing location Amazing food Amazing staff in restaurant (ask for coffee experience with Gustavo! It was amazing). Pool is great and it is no so cold as people write here. We had a lot of fun with kids!
