We spend a whole week in DaRosa with a wonderful apartment directly at the beach. The rooms are clean, have AC and a fan, big hot showers and fast WiFi around the whole area. The food at the in-house restaurant is also really good, perfect for a relaxed holiday with your love. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Eating breakfast at the beach was our favorite moment. DaRosa Del Mar is worth a visit if you are in Siargao!

The atmosphere created here by the host is very relaxing. Coming from a fast paced high stress military background, it’s extremely difficult for me to slow my mind down and to actually be in the moment; a few nights at Kaha Island Stay made more of a beneficial impact on my mind than over a decade of therapy. The host is kind and friendly to chat with. The lounge area and open kitchen makes for a comfortable way to mingle with the other guests. I felt safe and secure at all times during my two different stays at Kaha Island Stay. I’ve made a 3rd reservation and recommend a group of friends to stay there as well. The area is a wonderful and much more private location than the South side of the island (General Luna), so being able to get away from the crowds was something I found therapeutic. Having access to a full size refrigerator, large kitchen, hot water for showers, large bed with comfortable pillows, area to wash sand off your feet from the nearby beach, and larger open environment overall is great. I can’t stay enough good things in comparison to the many other hotels I’ve stayed at while traveling in the Philippines; in comparison to price Kaha Island Stay offers a much greater experience for what you pay.

Subangan is a nice homestay to stay in your trip to the north of the island. Rooms are spacious and clean. The best thing is the lady that runs it; I left an important thing there and she made the impossible to give it to me before I was leaving the island. Highly recommend!
