This was a great start of our vacation. Apart from the buildings being special because of their history, the location & view from the hill was spectacular. Owner Bernard was so friendly to tell us about the history of the building and land, which turned out to be in his family for the last 400 years. It's located in a beautiful rural garden. My partner loves classic & vintage design, and thorough the guesthouses were hints of that. So that was also a big bonus. Would definitely book here again if we ever visit São Miguel again.

We had a fantastic stay at Quinta do Paraizo. Everything was perfect: the very clean room and bathroom, the quiet swimming pool, the delicious varied breakfast with fresh jams, fruit, different types of bread, ... We also had the chance to taste a delicious Portuguese meal. The host Ana gave us a lot of information about the island. We are full of praise for Ana and this accommodation.

The house, the territory, space, parking on premises - everything is a hidden gem. It is so great, you are like in a castle, having everything you need and even more. Ocean view from balcony is a plus of course. I think I could spend all vacation just jn this house without visiting other places in island :) Very comfortable! Paulo is the best person in Azores. Indeed a great host - helpful and responsive. When I had a flat tire on my car and needed communication with insurance in Portuguese, Paulo immediately arrived to the apartament thoughbit was late evening, and did his best to help. His tips about places in island are also great.

After looking at what seemed like a zillion homes on the island and cross referencing them with recent reviews, we chose this spot. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The pictures posted on the listing are accurate and arguably don’t do the home justice. The host has literally thought of anything and everything one might need and it’s provided (albeit not necessarily mentioned/listed). We requested a crib for baby and they had it set up and ready to go. IF you’re traveling with a baby who likes a dark room, I recc getting some travel blackout curtains from Amazon beforehand. Between that and the new travel Hatch, baby slept like a dream. I ended up buying a whole bunch of unnecessary things, as I’m used to domestic rentals that provide nothing and have pages of rules. Once I did some exploring, I found all the items I bought, already stocked in cabinets/drawers etc. The host was beyond accommodating and was very understanding when baby broke something she got her hands on. Hubby ended up cutting himself pretty bad, and the house had a stocked first aid kit that was a lifesaver late at night when a pharmacy wasn’t open. The location was perfectly central for exploring the island (we rented a car on our own, but the host does have reccs for rentals if needed). There’s a charcoal grill on ground level and a wood grill upstairs, with plenty of wood provided. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was delightful. The host was also readily available via either the booking.com app or WhatsApp. 500/10 I would rent this home again.

Perfect location to explore the island. The bedrooms are comfortable and the appartment is big with all sorts of appliences in the kitchen. Their is parking in front of the house, towels are provided, the pool is clean and the owners are super friendly. What not to love, I had a very pleasant stay!

Everything was brand new and thoroughly decorated. Very cozy and colorful home. The staff was super nice and friendly. The garden is very pretty, great for exploring.

Bardzo wygodny domek w centrum Rabo de Peixe. W jednym domku są dwa osobne, niezależne apartamenty, ale nikt nikomu nie przeszkadza. Kontakt z wynajmującą bardzo dobry, przez booking odpowiadała błyskawicznie. Przed przyjazdem dostaje się kody do bramy i wejścia i wszelkie wskazówki dojazdu. Trafiliśmy bez żadnych problemów. Korzystać można z zewnętrznego grila, stoliki, krzesła ogrodowe oraz dary ogrodu do dyspozycji gości. To było bardzo miłe. Apartament to salon z rozkładaną kanapą, w pełni wyposażona kuchnia i osobna sypialnia z podwójnym łóżkiem, oczywiście łazienka. Okna wychodzą na ogród. Domek oddalony ok 400m od oceanu i portu w Rabo de Peixe. Okolica bardzo cicha i spokojna, chodziliśmy często na wieczorne spacery, zawsze czuliśmy się bezpiecznie. Po drodze polecam Allo Pizza z bardzo dobrą pizzą! Nieco dalej, ale spacerkiem da się ogarnąć, jest najlepsza w tej okolicy restauracja Botequim Acoriano. Obłędne ośmiornice i steki :P Chętnie skorzystam ponownie z tego noclegu i takiej lokalizacji. :)
