Calm, quiet, excellent pool and brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was to die for - Loads of different continental options with regional products. The Quinta is situated close to Castelo de Vide e Marvão which are lovely places to visit, however is in a remote enough location for it to feel like a break from a busy life.

The idyllic peaceful rural location on a working farm with sheep with bells. Jose was a delightful host and the breakfasts were excellent. Our room was spacious and the traditional stone building was nice and cool and the pool was great for cooling off. The bed was very comfortable. There were some nice restaurants about half an hour's walk away and nearby Marvao is well worth a visit. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it very much. It is great if you are looking for peace and quiet.

It is kind of hard to find place. It is a small hotel in a beautiful green place. We had been upgraded to (2) rooms with balcony and a view of the restaurant and the river and the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed that very much and thank you for that bonus. The breakfast was good, not excellent,We tried to convince the lady to make for us eggs sunny side up but we got scrambled eggs. It is not a big deal. Al in all it is a beautiful, nice and very clean place to stay. Well worth the money.

Very clean, great location (with a car, all of the sites are within 10 minutes), free parking. Sonia is a wonderful host - very genial and always available. When we arrived, she had bread, chorizo, homemade marmelada, a half bottle of wine, and coffee ready for us. The air conditioning was nice and cool, and the bathroom was clean with a nice shower.
