Wonderful vacation home in a quiet aldeia. Fabulous views of the sunset behind the mountains from the terrace dining table. The pool was cool and refreshing on a hot day. The host helped us organize dinner even though we arrived around 7:30pm with a last minute booking. We joined the locals at the club one evening and everyone was welcoming. A wonderful vacation home for family/friends.

The place has everything you may need, from very confortable rooms and nice common spaces, including even a nice swimming pool. João was super nice during the check-in and the stay answering all questions we had. The place also has a free parking place which is very convenient.

We were very comfortable here in this quiet village. The beds are comfortable and the place was very clean. We all enjoyed exploring and hiking around, including our 12 and 16 year old kids. We devoured the daily fresh bread. Olga and Roy were helpful and friendly. We had a delicious meal at Casa Ti Augusta.

Beautiful quiet location just what we was looking for, half an hour drive into costelo branco, 5 minutes drive to a supermarket, Francisco and his wife amilia are the perfect hosts, amilia baked us a cake for when we arrived and Francisco make us some homemade wine and honey, both so polite and helpful and friendly we really enjoyed spending time there and felt at home, the houses and grounds are beautiful the pool is large enough and garden area is lovely and all very well kept, there is Air-conditioning in both bedrooms that really came in handy, the only thing I would change is adding a oven into the kitchen as a family really would have came in handy, although Francisco does have a portable one that he brought over for us when we needed it was just a little small, We will be visiting again next year and hopefully every year from now, since we visit Portugal every year it is perfect for us, we will miss refugio and Francisco and amilia, thank you for having us.

The host was super nice and friendly. Put herself readily available to help since the start. Pointed out all tips and places to visit, suggested trails, and really ran the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. We even enjoyed a fresh batch of bred, still hot from the community oven, given by the her. The house is lovely, nicely built, and decorated with good taste, capturing the village's atmosphere. The facilities are all there, and the barbecue is a big plus! It is a gorgeous and peaceful area, perfect for recharging your batteries.

The location was breathtaking, the apartment was excellent, very comfortable, big, clean with everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and reachable when needed. All in all 10 out of 10. Absolutely recomendable.
