How do I begin to describe this place. It is just such a lovely place to stay in. This stuga has everything you need and more. It is very clean, has it's own bathroom and kitchen and has much more space than we expected. We would definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit this area of Sweden. There are lots of hidden pearls in this area that we discovered sometimes by accident and sometimes planned, but nevertheless we enjoyed our stay here a lot. The hosts are just the sweetest and even though the languagebarrier was there sometimes, we could still have a very enjoyable talk with them.

Hattakalles is great facility situated in the heart of Smedjebacken ( Small city near to Ludvika ) It has execellent kitchen facility with super clear and well organized place managed with out staff .I love this place and recommending to use this facility who planning for business trip to Hittachi Energy ,Ludvika Good valve for money

Beautiful, traditional house in a lovely setting. We arrived wet and the host very kindly gave us a larger room to stay in. The cooking facilities were great and the bathroom nice and clean but quite small. Bedding was extra, but it was nice to have the option of not unloading our own gear from wet bikes.

The atmosphere was exceptionel. Such a lovely old wooden house, cosy bed and room, and even the Internet was decent. The setting at the Lake is just beautiful. The Best, however, was the food. Don't miss out on the authentic swedish breakfast, but The three-course-dinner was one of the best i have ever had. worth every penny!
