We visited in winter and were the only guests here, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet next to the reservoir. The owner was so kind and made us food when we arrived after a long hike. The room was beautiful and the bed very warm and comfortable. We loved the dogs and cats to play with outside!

The communication before the stay was already great and staff then was super friendly and helpful as we arrived. They did a really great job. The new and nicely decorated accommodation is a bit above the village but therefore offers an amazing view over the valley. A little local shop is right next to it and the accommodation offers basic beverages and food over the day. Beside that breakfast and dinner is available. The food we tried was good and was always served with a smile. We had a great time there and loved relaxing on our balcony while reading and enjoying the scenery.

We love everything!! Activity for painting cloths, trekking amazing and energizing, dinner and breakfast incredibly home made and authentic. The family, specially Sue, what a woman!! She organizes everything and tailor your stay to whatever you search for. At the same time they treat you with humble and like a family. I really love my stay in here, they made me feel i wanted to stay foe months in there :) The place help to meet other people travelling and you have the option of sharing or staying in your own place . Fantastic !!

The homestay with Su was everything I expected and more. Su is super warm and friendly and she instantly makes you feel like you are apart of the family. I arrived very early and I was able to check in without any issues and without any additional charge. The room (front bungalow) was perfect and was exactly how it was described online. It was clean, spacious with a great view. There was even an extra thick blanket and an electric blanket for the cold nights (and it was needed as it did get cold at night). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I did the Medicine Tour arranged by Su and it takes you off the beaten track a little through the bamboo forest. It was a little challenging especially as it was quite muddy post rain and perhaps not for the faint hearted but thoroughly enjoyable with some great scenery. In the evenings Su also invited her guests to help with preparing the evening meal which is a great way for the guests to interact and get to know each other and to learn a little about Vietnamese cruise. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

The bed had an electric blanket to keep me warm all night long despite the freezing cold December weather in Ta Van, and looking out the big window from my warm bed every morning felt wonderful. The whole building seems very new and kept super clean.
