The central location made it easy to visit nearby towns Montagu, Robertson. McGregor and many wine farms. Our cottage had an absolutely spectacular view of the mountains. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need. The hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

Absolutely clean, so much attention to detail. The dog loved running free in the fenced yard. Comfy bed. It was a very cold night, but lit a fire in the fireplace with wood, so thoughtfully provided. Can't wait to come back in summer and stay longer! Thanks, Rex.

At arrival I was welcomed by Philip and we got into a very nice and interesting conversation. He will give any information needed. In the fridge he had prepared local Cheese and sausages as well as Muffins and - very exceptional - a bottle of wine, all for free consumation. The location is very calm and you can directly start into the hikes around from there. Equipment is perfect, nothing to be missed!

The house was beautifully decorated and homely. All the rooms were of a good size with comfortable beds and good facilities. There's a lovely stoep looking out over the gardens and mountains- the whole place had a feeling of quiet calm Our host Cate had very generously given us a lovely bowl of fruit and bottle of wine and also made sure there was milk in the fridge for our arrival.
