The Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador is located on the seafront of the famous Farol da Barra Beach, which you can admire from the balcony of your room and from the swimming pool. Breakfast was great, complete, had everything and they also made tapiocas and omeletes for you. Room was very clean with marvelous view. Beds were very comfortable, mattress wasn’t soft. Location was also very good, walking distance to the lighthouse, to the shopping mall and a very good restaurant nearby (Reconcavo restaurant)

Staff were very friendly. We got upgraded to room number 01 close to reception. The room was spacious and lovely. Beds were comfy, and loved the amenities. Breakfast was delicious and with many options.. tapioca was the highlight... Restaurant a bit pricey but delicious.

Set in a restored and enlarged antique 19th century residence, Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu offers rooms with air conditioning and cable TV. Rio Vermelho Beach is only a 10-minute walk away. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, although we don't speak Portuguese. The colonial building and furnishings were elegant. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The location in Rio Vermilho was tranquil although just a block from bars, restaurants, and the coast. Great place to relax at the end of the day!
