We just stayed before a flight from Recife airport. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, generous and welcoming. The room was spotless. They have a small pool which we didn't have time to make use of, unfortunately, and a cafe. It is in a super convenient location for the airport, just 5 mins drive away but still quiet.

Ideally located just 600 metres from Pontal de Maracaípe Natural Pools, Pousada Maracabana Spa offers rooms with balcony. Perfect location, sea front, 15 min beach walk to beautiful coral pools, private parking, easy to get there. Super friendly staff (Spanish/Portuguese speaking). Just like pics, impeccably clean. Delicious breakfast, complimentary tea/coffee and cake 4-5pm in the afternoon. Delicious and very well served lunch/dinner at the hotel restaurant at good price. We stayed in the front corner bedroom with hot bathtub and the most amazing view. We would definitely stay here again!

Set in a beautiful park next to Olinda´s São Francisco Convent, this hotel features a colonial museum and modern rooms. Free Wi-Fi, free parking and a large pool are available. Beautiful setting in a tropical garden. Excellent food on site, with lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, although only a few spoke anything but Portuguese. The rooms are well equipped and very clean, but it's obvious that the buildings are quite old.

Located beachfront and 3 km from Porto de Galinhas centre, Pousada Xalés de Maracaípe offers rooms with rustic décor. The property has an impressive palmtree garden and a lovely pool. The fresh coco (coconut water) is worth a try.

Mar Hotel Conventions is located just 400 metres from Boa Viagem Beach and features three swimming pools set within landscaped gardens. Free WiFi is available. The pool is great and stays open for a little while after dark. A lot of places don't like to do that in my experience. The breakfast had a wide range of good options and the air con in the room was really good.

Hotel Atlante Plaza is a luxury hotel situated in a prime location on Boa Viagem beach and is at a 7-minute drive from the city's main shopping centre. It boasts a rooftop pool, a sun terrace. Very good hotel, in front of the beach, very central, less than 15 min to the airport, excellent breakfast and the room was comfortable. Few blocks way are bakery, supermarkets, banks and shopping mall. Excellent service .

The apartment is brand new and decently equipped. I really felt safe. There’s a communal laundry area in the building which is also good for longer stays. Gym could be bigger/better equipped but it does the job.
