Very cute little hotel and very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was wonderful! The first night we stayed, Roberto cooked us a delicious home made breakfast. The second night we had to leave early and Natalia left us the cutest little takeaway bags!

It was no problem to check in early, even though she had a really busy day. She made everything work for me. The apartment is very big and the price is incredible. She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. Kitchen is big and nice. You have so much space

With mountain views, Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca is set in Heredia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Very clean and cosy. Owner super sweet, enticing us with strawberries grown there and delicious food, very attentive and accommodating to all our requests. The chalets were thematic, each had a flower name and you had that glower planted in front of it, which we found very cute.
