This traditional hotel is a former brewery complex in the heart of Beilngries. The Schattenhofer Braugasthof offers spacious, newly renovated (2022) rooms as well as an on-site sauna. We really just needed a quick overnight stay, which turned out to be a real treat. From the delicious dinner, via the beautifully appointed rooms to a wonderful breakfast spread. Thank you!

Excellent accommodation for Challenge Roth, the room was very comfortable, clean, with a lake view, there was a secured bike garage and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts were friendly and the whole weekend was perfect.

First, many thanks again to owner Mr. Werner; who was always very kind and welcoming. This small hotel is a special place. Rooms are very clean and actually quite big. The heating comes from the floor. Although I shared the batroom it was not a problem at all, it is very clean. I stopped my journeyat this place half way to the Kassel, there and back, both ways. It is about 15 minutes drive away from Highway exit. The breakfast at Preith is a highlight, it felt like eating at home. Mr.Werner bought especially for me Oat and rice milk for breakfast, because I do not consume cow milk products. Also the warm fresh bread, butter and local jam were my favourites! I arrived in the evening and it was always very quiet. So good to rest at this place. There is also a good pizzeria/italian restaurant about 700 meters away. So, if you are traveling towards north of Germany and you need a rest, this is a great place to stop and chill! :):):)
