Boasting a terrace and located by a forest, Kyriad Périgueux BOULAZAC is situated in Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire. I only stayed one night, but the room was very spacious and extremely clean. The mattress was excellent and very comfortable. The pillow, however, was not great, so if you are sensitive to pillows, I recommend bringing your own. Having an electric car, I also really appreciated the Tesla charger right next to the hotel — this was a great surprise.

It was a privilege to enjoy the incredibly restored buildings and grounds and to learn of its fascinating history. Breakfast every morning was delicious and dinner on the terrace was a fabulous experience too. The wine list was so nice we set off specifically to visit those vineyards. There are so many lovely villages and place to explore within short drives every direction of le chateau and Fabienne and Frédéric were great with suggestions everyday. Our room was stunning and the pool was amazing. Our dog loved it all too. As a base for exploring Le Périgord it is perfect. 4 nights was not enough.

I've rated this excellent because of its value for money for what it is. This was a safe, private, comfortable, clean, cool room with an en-suite shower and toilet. Plus there was a kettle which on my travels seems increasingly rare! The wifi was excellent and the breakfast was simple but delicious consisting of different bread toasts and spreads. The coffee with breakfast in the morning was great. Very friendly service all the time. Thank you! There are two beds but the double is a small double, so to my mind the room is for the sole traveller or a couple.
