Rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and comfortable - thought out with everything you would need, even down to a bottle opener in the room. Have stayed multiple times for both work and leisure, Leanne is a fantastic host and accommodating for all your needs - cooks a wonderful breakfast in the morning as well!

Fellpack House in Keswick provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Featuring a housekeeping service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very nice and helpful staff, spacious and clean room, delicious choice of breakfasts and a great location near the lake/town centre/bus station make Fellpack House the ideal place to stay for a visit in Keswick. Thank you very much for everything - we really enjoyed our time here and hope to be back in the future!!

Situated in Kirkby Lonsdale and with Trough of Bowland reachable within 28 km, Red Dragon Inn features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Such a lovely cosy, comfortable and dog friendly place. The staff (Sean and Helen) were exceptionally kind and helpful. I was travelling with my brand new puppy and they made it so much easier for me. Can’t recommend this property enough and we will definitely be back.

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Staff couldn't do enough to help... Wonderful stay amazing breakfast...

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Sarah and the rest of the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. The bed was really fantastic, probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in. Even though the duvet was a double duvet (we like our single duvets in Scandinavia), it was still wide enough that we didn't wake each other up during the night. I recommend trying the evening platter with local delicacies one night, just remember to pre-order 24 hrs in advance. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come this way.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Great place. Very accommodating and good information prior to arrival. Everything great.

Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. The property is outside Keswick, but in a way, that makes it all the better--quieter. The outside patio offers a nice view and it's fun to enjoy a drink there and relax. The triple room we had offered a patio (albeit on the driveway). Dinner (we didn't eat there) smelled delicious, and breakfast was plentiful, though I would have liked less watered down coffee. As a larger facility, you don't have to order breakfast the night before.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.
