The location was great, very close to town and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and pubs. The rooms were renovated nicely and were very clean and comfortable.

Inaugurat în anul 1924, The Gleneagles Hotel este un complex de prestigiu, situat în inima Scoției. The best hotel we have stayed in! The room had everything that one could wish for and was exceptionally well decorated. We also appreciated the turndown service and the fresh water. The dining places offered a pleasant ambiance, and the food was obviously of high quality. The three-course dinner menu was totally worth it! Even the Benedict eggs or the burger for lunch were among the best I've had. The pools and saunas were clean, and we liked that the adult-only area was separated from the family pool. Among the activities, we tried whisky tasting and clay-pigeon shooting, and I can only recommend them. All facilitators were extremely knowledgeable. We did a wander around the property, and it was a fantastic 1.5h walk in nature, far away from crowds.

The Claymore is an attractive Victorian residence with its own private drive with free parking and gardens, only 2 minutes walk from Pitlochry town centre. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. the variety and quality of breakfast was first class. the host Godfrey was very attentive, informative and helpful. the breakfast staff were great.

We stayed just for one night during a short trip to Scotland (we attended the Enchanted forest event). The location is like a chateau from fairytale. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, room warm and the bathroom was equipped above common standards. The view we had during (super tasty) breakfast was breathtaking - sunrise above Pitlochry. We are definitely staying over again on our next journey in the area and we would not mind staying for multiple days.
