The room was originally a barn attic and it was easy to scrape your shoulder on sloping ceiling but one soon adjusted to this.

Location!!! Private parking next to the complex. Well furnished and spacious. Both showers easy walk-in and good shampoo/shower gels provided. Apartment on one level. Informative brochure and interactive hosts, call away if needed. Walk out of complex onto main high street and close walk to the river.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Melrose cottage is located in Goring, 30 km from Newbury Racecourse and 32 km from University of Oxford. The place was so close of Basildon, our next destination. We didn't know when we were coming but Rose was so lovely and welcome us with a warm hello just as family. It's exactly how I felt there. At home and Rose was so helpful and nice !

Located in Whipsnade, 18 km from Woburn Abbey, Old Hunters Lodge Whipsnade Limited provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We stayed overnight at Old Hunters Lodge as it was close to Whipsnade Zoo and we wanted an early start at the zoo the next morning. The property was perfectly located for that, it was easy to get a cab from Luton Station to the location. The hotel itself was lovely, the room was charming. While it was a little loud being under the flight path for luton, we both managed to sleep with our headphones on and we are light sleepers. The staff were exceptional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Prior to my stay I received a message from Louise and John asking if I wanted to book a table for dinner as we were arriving on Valentine’s Day and it would be busy. I really appreciated them taking that step to ensure we would have a table for dinner on the night we arrived. Dinner was lovely, I was a bit nervous as I am allergic to mushrooms and most of the valentines menu included mushrooms but they made sure my main didn’t include mushrooms. The portions were massive and the food was very good. Breakfast the next morning was also very good and fast, there were lots of options for cooked breakfast as well as juice and cereal for self service and hot drinks from the bar. Overall this was a great stay and I could easily see myself coming back.

We visited the UK for the first time to attend my graduation at Henley Business School. In the days leading up to my trip, Natalie promptly replied to my emails and helped plan the itinerary. Natalie and Rob were exceptional hosts, providing a delightful English breakfast, immaculate rooms, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend their place for anyone seeking the United Kingdom countryside experience.
