While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the island and the lake. This hotel is such a little paradise :) The terrace, the pool and the hundreds of tropical plants truly made this place special and were a nice break from Flores’ heat. Peter made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and everyone was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. From check in to check out, our whole stay at La Lancha was totally fantastic. Their attention to detail and the helpfulness every single member of staff was exceptional. We booked tours and massages from them, the quality of which was also at the very top.

This modern hotel is situated right on Peten Itza Lake and offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. What a wonderful stay we had. In the middle of a forest ("jungle" we may say), so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Quite luxurious speedboat transferring us from Flores and back. Good kitchen and first of all excellent staff, so helpful and with unusual friendly attitude. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to feel one of the best possible vibes.

A beautiful place to relax, a green oasis at Laguna Petenchel, close to Flores but far away from any noise. The restaurant right at the laguna serves delicious food, the spacious rooms are clean and offer privacy in bungalows, woodpecker enjoy the fruits of the mango trees while we enjoyed the pool area.

The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember.
