The quality of food was excellent and the friendliness of the staff and overall experience has been so good we decided to change our holiday plans and book into the highest grade suite for an extra 2 nights. My grandson has celiac disease and every morning they waited him with delicious GF food. He was happy and we were all grateful. The hotel has a restaurant which is fantastic. We had some truly memorable meals there, including my grandson. The pool was fun. Balatonszemes is a quaint place with great beaches and restaurants and confectioneries. We especially enjoyed the ice cream place in this hot weather. The room had great air conditioning but there were screens on the windows and as it cooled down for the night we opted to sleep by the open windows. Very quiet place at night.

Everything was amazing, the room was very clean, comfortable bed , modern bath , the balcony had an amazing view ,the spa was very relaxing and the food really tasty. We would definitely come back.

Guests can enjoy treatments, such as mud beauty therapies and massages, as well as Ayurveda and Yumeiho. This was a return trip for us and Lotus Hotel never disappoints. Service was excellent, facilities amazing, with super clean pools, saubas and rooms, great food, and altogether, a very relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful town of Heviz is only 2 km away so we took early morning walks to the town and had out first coffee there. As a bonus, there is a litttle show every night at the hotel and some of the performers are fantastic. All in all, a memorable holiday! We shall return!
