The room was clean, had a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the patio. They have a little harbour where you can swim from. It’s possible to rent snorkel-gear from the cafe next door.

The home-cooked breakfast every morning was excellent. Fresh food well-prepared. The owner, Ibu Saliza, remembered which foods I especially liked and made sure to serve them again and saved me some! She is also a great source of information and help. Saliza knows the flights and transport that Google doesn't and she will book them for you. Ask her anything about travel, local history, food, anything. She is a great person to chat with. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet all day and all evening. Good aircon for comfortable sleep at night, or sit out on the dock in the evening and enjoy the water and the stars. The snorkeling right off the dock was great--better than when I booked a seat on a dive boat. I initially booked three nights but extended to six, and wish I could have stayed longer!

The Hawks's Nest Resort First of all I just want to review the place as if it was any other place. The room was really nice, very spacious and with a nice couch and coffee table where our family could sit and relax, the view from either bed or the couch was amazing with the ocean and the very well maintained and beautiful jungle flora in between. It was clean and honestly one of, if not the best place my family and I have ever stayed in South East Asia. Would recommend anyone to go here. Now I want to review the people who made this the best experience we've ever had hands down. The staff was so incredible pleasant and friendly to be around. We had the greatest days here and they made us feel like family. The guys and girls that worked in the restaurant and grounds all had an amazing way of making us feel at home. It was layed back but in a very polite and natural way. It seemed very clear to us that the people working there enjoyed what they were doing and also each others and the guests company. The manager Llya was so nice to be around and she made sure that we had the best possible stay ever. We can never really repay her for her outstanding service and friendly, inviting way of being.
