We went out with Yohannes (guide) and Mingu (driver) and we had such a lovely few days with them; they went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more and were so knowledgeable in sharing information about the local traditions and culture. Highly educational and lovely!

We also went on a day tour that Riko conducted in the surrounding Minahasa Highlands which was well worth it. The bedrooms and shared bathroom are basic but have everything one needs. The views from the balcony are stunning. Peaceful and great value for money. Highly recommended!

The homestay features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. We loved it here. The room itself was very comfortable and there was a great view from the shared common area. The food was excellent (we ate there every night!), and they provide free tea, coffee and water. The whole family are so welcoming and helpful. We had the most interaction with Jacob and Jansen and they were always so helpful with arranging tours of the area, as well as sitting with us to explain the history and culture of Toraja.
