The location was so beautiful it exceeded our expectations. We had a private candlelight dinner in the watchtower and highly recommend it was one of the highlights of our trip so far. Also the staff are very attentive and kind. Akhil took us for a morning walk and showed us around the property which we really enjoyed and Jinu made sure we were happy each meal. We also loved the badminton and many other games they had available. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

Wonderful staff who bend backwards to give you want you want . One can never go wrong with a Taj .. Chef Raj and chef Sanil kumar were constantly meeting us to ensure we were comfortable. We even had a wonderful unique dining experience on our anniversary. Chef Sanil was personally involved in curating the menu. The Manager Restaurants , Mr Sajjith was exceptional. He was attending to us everyday and even making some cocktails with the limited inventory. Some people who made our trip memorable were - Sajjith , Raj & Sanil , Akshay and Ameer ( interns ).

This has been by far the best place we have stayed in India. The owner and his recommended driver have been super helpful and kind. We absolutely recommend staying in here , specially if you want to see tigers and do safaris in Nagarhole or Bandipur. Best experience ever.

Woodrose Resort in Kalpatta has a garden and a shared lounge. The property is located 11 km from Soochipara Falls. Asian cuisine is served at the restaurant. The resort is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and offers stunning views of Chembra Peak and the surrounding hills. Manager Vineeth and his team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Despite arriving at 5:30 a.m., Mr. Vineeth promptly responded to our call and kindly arranged an early check-in for a small additional fee. The self-service buffet breakfast was delicious, and while the canteen food was simple, it was consistently tasty. Overall, it was an excellent and serene experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Wayanad.

Mount Xanadu Resorts is set in Ambalavayal, 15 km from Wayanad. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV. A superb experience from start to finish! The smiling staff were all super attentive and helpful. Our room (Royal Comfort Suite) was huge and gorgeous. The breakfast and dinner buffet meals were delicious and plentiful. We had two wonderful massages in the spa. We also enjoyed playing games, swimming in the beautiful pools and wandering around the gorgeous grounds. High tea at 5 o’clock on our day of arrival made a spectacular start, and a short climb up to the sunset viewing point made a wonderful end to our stay. We also recommend a visit to the local flower gardens at Ambalavayal Poopoli and the Edakkal Caves.
