It was clean, comfortable, and full of character. We would come back to this ryokan for the owners alone, but the town also has its charm - letting us experience authentic japanese everyday life on the country side. Our stay in Tako-machi and Masugataya Ryokan was truly unforgettable<3

Just in front of the scenic Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, Wakamatsu Honten is a charming local property featuring large public baths and non-smoking Japanese-style rooms with free WiFi. The location on the Narita omotesando, in front of the Naritasan temple. The staff was great, the room and the common bath perfect. Very good Japanese food. Enjoyed it a lot. Great if you need a stop on the way to/from Narita as airport.
