Located on Miyajima (Itsukushima), Miyajima Guest House Mikuniya offers a Japanese-style accommodation and a small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 20-minute walk away. miku the cat! haha but really, the tatami room was lovely.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. It was all AMAZING. The property is a little older but in a very good way (very nostalgic for me). Such good vibes in the lobby and the room was beautiful with a big window looking out over the water. I had never before had kaizeki in my room in this way, or had public onsen, and this experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was very good both at dinner and for breakfast. The bedding was comfortable. I have no complaints and every compliment!

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath, 3 restaurants and karaoke. In the Rooms you have a choice of either a western bed or a Japanese bed that you can make. I chose to take a nap in the western one and then I made the other on the tatami floor for the rest of the stay. The man’s onsen has 3 baths going up from the hottest on top to the mild that is inside at the bottom.

We really loved staying here in amazing surroundings. At the weekends go to the little cafe at the top of the road where there is local guitar playing. Tell the Sylvie from London told you to go.

The woodwork inside was nice. Loved the good vibes the place had. It's located in the countryside very near Izumo Shrine! Loved listening to the frogs at night in the field across the street - if you open your room window, you can fall asleep listening to them 🙂. The bed and blanket were very comfortable, the shower and the amenities provided were really nice. Good security: Code access to enter the front door and bedroom.
