The place was peaceful and comfortable, the staff was excellent, and the onsen was fantastic. The entire experience was perfect. They offered a meditation class and a special ritual, both of which were truly beautiful experiences. The food was memorable

We had an amazing stay, the hotel had literally everything we could think of: a spacious room with lots of different (!!) outlets including type-c and usb, free use of hotel onsen with volcanic water (tattoo-friendly), drinking water and fully equipped shared kitchen, and of course - a very reasonably priced bakery. Would definitely stay again if in Shirahama!

The food was the best that I had on my trip, they had Japanese cuisine mixed with Italian techniques, the drinks were also great. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The vibes of the room and the whole house were unique. Plus, if you are doing the Kumano Kodo, Nonagase Guest House is right on the path and so you don't have to take a detour and the nearest shop is like a 10 minute walk.

It is located 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall and features full-day security. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot tub and a shared kitchen. This is a lovely stay, a location if you are on way to Kumano Kodo, and perfect stop over for rest. We explored this small pleasant village, and took hikes into the forest, what magnificent nature! The host is truly welcoming, we received a home-made dinner and breakfast, and had a chance to chat with other travellers. The tatami mats were very comfortable and not too hard to sleep on like in other locations ;) Once again thank you for the pleasant stay. Wish we could stay longer!

Ideal to start the day calmly and relaxed. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful, the common room is comfy, all rooms are meticulously clean... really, we liked everything here.
